King of England, 1483 to 1485

Richard III was king of England for two short years from 1482-1485, until his untimely death at age 32. The last king both of the House of York and of the Plantagenet dynasty, his defeat by Edward VII, at the Battle of Bosworth Field in Leicestershire, England, brought with it the start of the Tudor dynasty.
